Obituary of Delores A. Amadio

Delores A. Amadio, 75, of Long Pond, died unexpectedly Monday, September 28, 2015 at Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Amadio. Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruby (Cushion) Bamford. Delores worked as a receptionist for Summit Resort in Tannersville from 1982 till 2001. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Parish, Emerald Lakes Women's Club and the Pocono Summit Women's Club. Delores loved playing cards and bingo with her friends and was an avid New England Patriots fan. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Peloubet and her husband, David of Long Pond; son, Kevin Amadio and his wife, Marisa of Spring Lake, N.J.; sister, Hope Quatrano of Portland, Maine; grandchildren, Katarina Peloubet of Long Pond and Kiley, Cory and Cary Amadio; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 1 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will conduct a blessing service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL, 60693. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
