Obituary of Karen P. Feely

Karen P. Feely, 68, of Pocono Lake, formerly of Cliffside Park NJ, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Joseph C. Feely, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Born on October 10, 1947, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Frieda (Rode) Victor. Karen specialized in accounting work for various legal and accounting firms in the Bergen County, NJ area before retiring. She loved to spend time tending to the flowers in her garden, and was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees. In addition to her loving husband, Joseph, Karen is survived by one sister, Judith Rother of Dallas, PA. There will be a viewing from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 9 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Sean Carpenter will conduct a blessing service at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL, 60693, or the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
