Obituary of Louis M. Taylor

Louis M. Taylor, 100, of East Stroudsburg died Friday, December 4, 2015 at Spring Village in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of the late Ruth (Roby) Taylor whom passed away in 2004. Born in Little Falls, N.J., he was the son of the late James H. and Florence (Madeville) Taylor. A graduate of Pratt Institute, Louis was an electrical engineer and retired from Edison Industries and Cyanamid/Shulton. He enjoyed many years of golfing, sailing his Duster class sailboat and operating an amateur radio rig having obtained his radio license in 1933. He was a member of the VFW Post 3448 in Tobyhanna. He is survived by his son, James Taylor of Georgia; daughter, Joan Taylor of South Carolina.; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and his seven cousins. Louis was preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, December 10 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Pastor George Alt will conduct a service 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Port Murray Cemetery, Port Murray, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
