Obituary of Robert A. Wohlfert

Robert A. "Bob" Wohlfert, 73, of Tobyhanna, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the loving husband of Lois (Lange) Wohlfert who shared 33 wonderful years of marriage. Born in New Britain, CT, he was a son of the late Walter H. Wohlfert and Kathleen (Wenzel) Kelly. Robert owned and operated Bob Wohlfert's Dry Wall, until his retirement in 2005. During his youth, he was a member of the Meriden Motorcycle Club in Connecticut for many years and enjoyed competition with fellow members. He also was a member of the Lord’s Club. Bob loved golfing, being with his family and spending time in Florida. In addition to his wife, Lois, he is survived by his sons: Michael Wohlfert and wife Sue of Federal Way, WA and Eugene Huelster and wife Tara of Norwood, NJ; daughters: Linda Sullivan and husband Kevin of Clinton, WA, Catherine Meyer and husband Max of Steamboat, CO, Lisa Joslin of Osprey, Fla, and Suzanne Huelster and husband Douglas of Southampton, NJ; brother, Walter Wohlfert and wife Cynthia of Rocky Hill, CT; sister, Mary Lou Teffs and husband Donald of New Britain, CT; Brother-in-law William Lange and wife Lorraine, and sister-in-law Fay Farissier and husband Wayne as well as his seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Agricola. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
