Jim and I were very sorry to hear of Jay's death. He was a a sweet and gentle man who had a wide influence in our small community. We loved running into him at the deli in the morning, chatting about the latest books we were reading and the news of the day. He was a staunch and regular Saturday volunteer at the library, always offering a smile and a word. He visited Jim's Toy Soldier Museum many times and we enjoyed his comments and his company. He is missed.
