Obituary of Dolores E. Gray

Dolores E. Gray, 94, of Cresco, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Howard Gray. Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Winterberger) Fries. She graduated from Old Forge High School, class of 1940. Dolores lived in Cresco most of her life. She was an active member at Keokee Chapel, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and was actively involved with the Women's Missionary Society for many years. She is survived by her children: Dennis Gray of Milford, John Gray and his wife, Lil of Cresco, Robert Gray of Harrisburg, Donna Walker and her husband, William of Bridgeville, DE, and Bonnie Wo of Jim Thorpe; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her sister, Louise. There will be a viewing from to 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, January 18 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Pastor Mertice Shane will conduct a service at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Keokee Chapel Cemetery, Cresco.
