Obituary of Connie Marie Nozad

Connie Marie Nozad, 55, of Henryville, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016. She was the loving wife of Arthur Nozad, with whom she shared 23 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Anthony and Edna (Ryder) DeMarco of Tobyhanna. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend, Connie was adored by all who knew her. She had a smile as big as her heart and a zest for life. She was young at heart and was looked up to not only by her children and grandchildren, but by all of the kids she grew to adopt as her own through school functions, where she volunteered many hours. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. In addition to her husband, Arthur, she is survived by her son, Robert Vecchiarello Jr. and his wife, Kelly, of Tobyhanna; her brother, Robert DeMarco and his wife, Sentoria, of Newburg, New York; and her grandchildren, Nicole and Christen Vecchiarello. There will be a viewing from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at St. Ann's Church, Main Street, Tobyhanna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
