Obituary of Susan Collins

Susan L. Collins, 67, of Cresco, died on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Esther (Slaugh) Caprioli. Susan was employed by First Keystone Community Bank in Mountainhome as head teller. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends and treasured making new memories. She had a love for the outdoors, gardening and bird watching. She also liked to read, bake, and crochet. She is survived by her loving companion, Chip Locher of Cresco; sons: Ronald Vogt, Jr. and his wife Ruan of Cresco, Robert Vogt and his wife Peggy of Mountainhome; brothers: Bob Caprioli and his wife Linda of Northampton, Tony Caprioli and his wife Maryann of Broadheadsville; step children: Heather Schratt of Cresco, Ryan Locher of Paoli, eight grandchildren: Anthony, Evette, Kassi, Bobby, Savannah, Melanie, Logan and Braedon; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Friday, February 5 from 11-1 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Caprioli Cemetery, Route 447, Canadensis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Susan, may be made to the Dale and Francis Hughes Cancer Center, 231 E Brown St; East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18301.
