Obituary of Debra G. Lewis

Debra G. Lewis, 61, of Canadensis, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Charles Lewis with whom she shared 23 years of marriage. Born in Iaeger, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Nell (Shook) Paulus. Debra was a loving wife and mother who took pride in caring for her family. She was an avid football and Nascar fan who also had a love for country music. In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by her daughter, Heather Lewis of Philadelphia; her son, John D. Chapman and his wife, Melissa of Republic, Ohio; her grandson, Chase; and her two nieces: Doreen Shook of Wilkes-Barre and Cheryl Shook of Philadelphia. There will be a viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Evans-Blitz Post 922 American Legion, P.O. Box 142, Canadensis, Pa 18325. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
