Obituary of Susan Allen-Bunzey

Susan Allen-Bunzey, 54, of Scranton, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She was the loving companion of Howard Day. Born in Binghamton, New York, she was the daughter of Richard and Sylvia Allen. Susan was a devoted mother who loved her children and took great pride in their accomplishments. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family by country line dancing, cooking, crafts, and traveling. In addition to her parents and companion, she is survived by her three daughters: Nicole Bunzey of Scranton; Jessica Bunzey of Allentown; and Shannon Bunzey of the Poconos. Also, her sister, Linda Krager and her husband, David, of Castle Creek, New York. There will be a viewing from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 10 at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A Blessing service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
