Obituary of Norman D. Dunn
Norman D. Dunn, 92, of Cresco, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. He was the loving husband of the late Rose Marie (Barbieri) Dunn.
Born in Harrisburg, Illinois, he was a son of the late Earl and Minnie Pearl (Norman) Dunn.
Norm was a Naval Aviator serving during World War II and the Korean War as Lieutenant Senior Grade. He was also licensed as a civilian pilot, rated in both single and multi-engine aircraft. During his working years, he was employed in Public Relations with Piper Aircraft, Bellanca, Learjet, Beech Aircraft, General Motors, Westinghouse, and Mass Mutual. While living in Lock Haven, before moving to his daughter's home in Cresco, he belonged to the Public Relations Society of America and to the Aviation-Space Writer's Association.
He is survived by one son, Randall N. Dunn of Broadlands, VA; one daughter, Eileen Bertanzetti of Cresco; numerous marvelous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and four beautiful sisters. Norm was preceded in death by his three brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held privately by Norm's family.
Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home and Crematory.
