Obituary of Fred Suter

Fred Suter, 56, of Pocono Lake, died as a result of an automobile accident, Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was the loving husband of Dawn (Goldie) Suter. Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Fred and LuLa (Peia) Suter. Fred was employed by J.A. Reinhardt as a machinist for more than 30 years. He coached baseball and softball for many years while his children were involved in sports. Fred was past vice president of the Pocono Mountain Little League and was co-founder of the Pocono Pride 18 & Under Softball League. In addition to his wife, Dawn, he is survived by his son, Matthew Suter of Pocono Lake; his daughter, Dana Fyffe and her husband, Jesse, of Spotswood, New Jersey; his brother, Rob Suter and his wife, Lori, of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216-3549. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
