Obituary of Lynn E. Kuchinski

Lynn E. Kuchinski, 81, of Cresco, died on Monday, March 21, 2016, at St. Luke's Anderson Campus in Easton. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph J. Kuchinski and the loving mother of the late David Kuchinski. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Margaret Burns and William Marriott. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Lynn devoted her life to her faith and caring for everyone who knew her. She was an active member of the former St. Mary of the Mount Parish in Mount Pocono and a former registered nurse for Monsignor McHugh School in Cresco. Lynn received her RN designation from Philadelphia General Hospital's School of Nursing (“Old Blockley”) in 1956. She is survived by her five sons: Dr. Joseph Kuchinski and his wife, Andrea, of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey; William Kuchinski, Esq. and his wife, Ann Marie, of Delmar, New York; Kevin Kuchinski and his wife, Caroline, of Cresco; Tony Kuchinski and his wife, Robin, of Susquehanna; and Dr. Matthew Kuchinski and his wife, Erica, of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Casey Kuchinski and his wife, Elizabeth; Amanda Kuhn and her husband, Dave; Scott; and Margaret, Michael and Ian Kuchinski; and five great-grandchildren: Cody, Roland, Dylan, Bowen and Audrey Shay. There will be a visitation from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday, March 24, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Rev. Gregory Loughney will conduct a blessing service at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Lynn may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
