Obituary of Joseph M. Schweers

Joseph M. Schweers, 35, of Mount Pocono, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home. Born in Staten Island, New York, he was a son of Marie (Timpanaro) Schweers of Mount Pocono and the late Frederick Schweers. Joseph worked at the Days Inn as a front desk manager in Tannersville and was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Michael Schweers and his wife, Nicole, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his aunt, Grace Oszart and her husband, Mike, of Howard Beach, New York; and niece, Kayla Schweers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There will be a viewing from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 28 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Rev. Fr. John Boyle will conduct a blessing service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
