Obituary of Robert H. Conger

Robert H. Conger, 87, of Tannersville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home. He was the loving husband of the late Jean (Brosius) Conger with whom he had shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn (Dennis) Conger. Known for his fun loving nature and witty sense of humor, Robert put a smile to anyone’s face who knew him. He found enjoyment in reading and taking in all of the beauty of the wildlife that surrounded his home. Most of all he liked to pal around with his best companion, his dog Colt. Before his retirement, he was employed with the former Mack Printing Company in Easton for over 40 years. He is survived by his children: Robert Conger, II and his wife Valerie of Sciota, Denise Snell and her husband Richard of Red Springs, NC, James Conger and his companion Jim Nelson of Tannersville, Debra Smith and her husband Bruce of Kunkletown; a sister-in-law: June Conger of Promised Land; grandchildren: Tamara Chervenie and her husband Todd, Heather Robertson and her husband Jason, Ronold Karasak and his wife Krista, Joshua Snell, Timothy Remaley and his wife Stasia, Jennifer Washburn and her husband Shaun, Jonaire Pastor and her husband Stephen; eleven great grandchildren and one on the way; two great-great grandchildren and his loving dog, Colt. In addition to his wife, Jean he was preceded in death by a daughter: Diane Yetter. “A special thank you to his personal caregivers Mary Ellen M., Mary K. and John. They were very devoted and caring people in Bob’s life. " Services are private at the convenience of the family. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
