Obituary of Alma Santos

Alma Rosa Santos, 51, of Tobyhanna, died Saturday, December 10 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. She was the wife of Miguel A. Santos, Jr. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Francisco and Sixta (Medina) Figueroa. She is survived by two sons, Jose Mendez of Stroudsburg, Miguel Santos III of Tobyhanna; two daughters, Rosemarie Mendez and Janet Mendez, both of Tobyhanna; three brothers; three sisters; three grandchildren, Miriam Ortiz, Alexandra Suffern, and Tristan Camacho; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister. There will be a viewing on Thursday, December 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
