Obituary of William John Zacheiss

William John Zacheiss, 63, of Scotrun, died on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Pocono Health System Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care Hospice House in East Stroudsburg, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Anna (Syznalski), with whom he shared 33 years of marriage. He was born in Kearny, New Jersey, son of the late Harold and Helen (Sislo) Zacheiss. A loving husband and father, family was everything to William and he cherished all of the time he had with them. He was employed with PNC Bank as an estate settlement officer for more than 33 years, working in wealth management and fund development for the American Cancer Society. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Parish, the Rotary Club of Mount Pocono and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife, Anna, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa Farley and her husband, James, of Nazareth; his son, John Zacheiss and his wife, Jillian, of Sellersville; his sister, Debi Graf and her husband, Art, of Montville, New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Vara and sister Dorothy Kenely. There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Mass will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center, 206 E.
