Obituary of Rebecca Jo Bocker-Roepke

Rebecca Jo Bocker, Roepke, 59 of Newfoundland Pennsylvania, passed away on October 5th at her home. Calling hours will be held at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco on Monday, October 10th from 3 to 5pm. A private service will be held by the family. Becky was born in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Harriet Roepke on May 1, 1957. She went to high school at Lely High School and graduated in 1975. As a reigning Naples Shrine Queen, Becky went on to attend Ringling School of Art as well as Boston Institute' of Art. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. She was an accomplished artist and worked in museums in New York and South Carolina. She taught special needs individuals at Devereaux until her last position with the Pocono Mountian School District as an art teacher.' known as Mrs. B, Becky dearly loved the big ones and little ones she had the privilege to teach. Becky is survived by her partner Greg Komeko, sons Andrew, Greg, and Stephen Bocker, sisters Kelly Sentilles and Lori Corner, brother Mike Roepke, mother Harriet. She is preceded in death by her father Charles and sister Cathy. She has a large extended family to include aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
