Obituary of Betty Lou Buchter

Betty Lou Buchter, 86, of Cresco, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Donald M. Buchter, whom passed away in 2006. Born in Elmo, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ella May (Barker) Simonson. She is survived by her children; Patrick Mace and his wife, Karin of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Randi Jambor of Tobyhanna, Terry Mace of Parker's Prairie, Minnesota, David Buchter and his wife, Kerri of Cresco, and Lori Jo Francis and her husband, John of East Stroudsburg; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Betty Lou was preceded in death by her sisters, Vivian M. Simonson Mace and Louis M. Simonson, and her brother, Leslie Gene Simonson. There will be a viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Vito will conduct a blessing service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to David Buchter at P.O. Box 426 Cresco, PA 18326 Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
