Obituary of Alfred B. Mancini, Sr.

Alfred B. Mancini Sr. “Al”, 74, of Pocono Lake, PA, formerly of Aston, PA passed away peacefully on November 22, 2016. He was the husband of Linda (Caputo) Mancini. Born in Italy, Al was the son of the late Giovanni and Angelina (Simonetti) Mancini. In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his daughter Angela Mancini-Donadio, son-in-law Matthew Donadio, and granddaughter Gracie Donadio all of Havertown, PA and his son Alfred Bruno Mancini, Jr. and daughter-in-law Joyce (Fedena) Mancini of League City, TX. He is also survived by his brother Vincent Mancini and sister-in-law Donna Mancini of Media, PA, his sister-in-law Regina Mancini of Holland, PA, and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Mancini formerly of Westtown, PA. Al owned and operated Chester Transmission in Eddystone, PA for over 30 years. Upon retiring, he became an active member of the Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church where he served as the treasurer and had an active role in the building and continual care of the Five Loaf House Food Pantry. Al was also an active board member of Arrowhead Lakes serving terms as both Vice President and a member of the maintenance team and was instrumental in helping to get the property’s new lodge built. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions, in honor of Alfred may be made to the Five Loaf House, c/o Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church, 203 Spur Road, Pocono Lake, PA 18347. Private Cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
