Obituary of Frank R. Riera

Frank R. Riera, 55, of Tobyhanna, died unexpectedly on December 2, 2016 in Wilkes-Barre. He was the husband of Patricia (Scarlato) Riera. Born in Cuba, he was the son of Francisco Riera and the late Helga Solanes Riera. A loving father and grandfather, Frank adored his family and all of the wonderful memories that they shared together. He was employed with PVH as a Logistics Manager and was an active member of Community Church in Tobyhanna, serving in children’s ministry for the past 3 years. Before moving to the Pocono’s, Frank was a member and lead teacher of Children’s Ministry for 15 years at KLCC in Connecticut. In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his children: Annamaria, Ashley and Andrew Riera; a brother: Albert Riera and two grandchildren: Aidan and Armani. There will be a visitation on Friday, December 9 from 11-12 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Services will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
