Obituary of Andrea Rutkowski

Andrea Rutkowski, 14, of Tobyhanna, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of Galina (Dmitrieva) Rutkowski of Tobyhanna and the late Thomas Rutkowski. Andrea attended Pocono Mountain West Junior High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She was a very positive, loving, and happy person who was often known as the peace keeper. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Michelle Rutkowski of Tobyhanna; brother, Aleksey Dmitriev of Tobyhanna, and her grandmother Tatyana Stafeeva of Russia. Andrea was preceded in death by her father Tommy Rutkowski and brother, Sammy Rutkowski who died as a result of the same accident. There will be a visitation Wednesday December 21st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center, 250 Kalahari Blvd, Pocono Manor Pa. Chaplain Kevin Correll will conduct a funeral service at 8 p.m. at the convention center. Burial will be private. Arrangements are being handled by The Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Rd. Cresco, Pa.
