Obituary of Thomas Rutkowski

Thomas "Tommy" Rutkowski, 53, of Tobyhanna, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Manhattan, New York, he was a/the son of the late Edward and Helen (Fontanez) Rutkowski. Tommy graduated in 1981 from Passaic High School in Passaic, New Jersey. He worked for Jet Aviation Airlines as a Line Service Lead in Teterboro, New Jersey. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Rutkowski of Tobyhanna, and Christine Rutkowski of Williamsport; three sons; Aleksey Dmitrieva of Tobyhanna; Matthew Rutkowski and Thomas Rutkowski Jr. from Nutley NJ sister: Maria Gulde from Long Island NY; nieces and nephews Cori and Casey Rutkowski , Jennifer Rideout, Jason Gulde and his former wife and friend, Galina Rutkowski of Tobyhanna. Thomas was preceded in death by his children, Sammy and Andrea Rutkowski who died as a result of the same accident. There will be a visitation Wednesday December 21st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center, 250 Kalahari Blvd, Pocono Manor Pa. Chaplain Kevin Correll will conduct a funeral service at 8 p.m. at the convention center. Burial will be private. Arrangements are being handled by The Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Rd. Cresco, Pa.
