Obituary of Bernadette A. Tokarcsik

Bernadette A. Tokarcsik, 65, of Blakeslee, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre. She was the loving wife of George Tokarcsik. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Maryann (Dowd) Peyton. Bernadette worked for Devereux as a behavioral specialist consultant in Newfoundland. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Tokarcsik of Blakeslee and sister, Maureen Peyton of Naples, Florida. Bernadette was preceded in death by her brothers, Monsignor John T. Peyton and Bernard Peyton. There will be a viewing from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, December 29 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Monsignor Dennis Heron will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Candy's Place, 190 Welles Street, Suite 120, Forty Fort, Pa 18704.
