Obituary of Susan Vadino

Susan Vadino, 70, of Pocono Lake, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Eugene "Gene" Vadino, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Jasper A. and Grace (Devine) Cooke. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Susan adored her family and the time she spent with them. She was a very successful real estate and timeshare agent throughout the Pocono region. She also sold timeshare in Las Vegas, Nevada, where her and her husband, Gene lived for a number of years. Susan was an avid reader and lifelong learner. She had an inquisitive mind and was a seeker of knowledge in many areas of life and around the world. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Edward Dudley, II, and his wife, Betty of Biloxi, Mississippi, James Dudley of Philadelphia, Theresa Vadino of West Chester, and Joseph Vadino of West Chester; sister, Lesa Sommerville of Inverness, Florida; grandchildren, Brittany and James Jr. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, January 23 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise valley Road, Cresco. Revered Father John Boyle will conduct a blessing service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
