One of the strongest woman I've ever known. With a strength I didn't admire until I became a mother myself. May you rest easy.

I was thinking of Barbara the other day when I came across some Ramsey School faculty photos. Barb was a dear. She was a wonderful school nurse. She knew how to be present to every child. While she could address their physical ills, she also knew how
to be a good listener. Some children just needed a big hug. Barb was an invaluable
resource for teachers too. Barb had a heart of gold and it was big enough to embrace
her own large family, as well as, the family of man. Thank you, Barbara, for making the
world a better place. It was an honor to know you and to be fellow staff with you. You
will be remembered with a smile.

Dear Children and grandchildren of Barbara Richards. My mom, Jeanette (nee DiBella) Valentino was Aunt Brunette's sister. All the DiBella offspring spent many a happy time--holidays, graduations, weddings, Christmases, Birthdays--at The Miller Home in Leonia. Barbara and Jackie were our cousins from the heart. I will always remember Barbara as the pretty red head with a winning smile. I was always a little in awe of the cousin who was so smart. I remember attending Barbara's graduation from Nursing School in Englewood. Aunt Brunette and Uncle Eddie were so very proud. In some ways, for me, it was inspiring. One of my favorite recollections. . .when in Nursing School, Barbara would visit our Bergenfield home for my mom's meatballs and spaghetti. Rest in Peace, Barbara (Miller) Richards. You were loved and left a beautiful legacy. Your children should be very proud, as I'm sure they are.
Love Cousin Barbara (aka Bobbi-Lou) used to differentiate. :)

It's just an amazing story your dear Mother provided for so many. Very few women still exist with her selfless devotion she gave to her husband and 12 children. It's most likely that very few people have encountered a gem like this one, also. God bless all 12 of you--Marilyn
