Obituary of Joyce M. VanBuskirt

Joyce M. VanBuskirk, 82, of East Stroudsburg, died on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her home. Born in Canadensis, she was the daughter of the late Claude W. and Martha A. (Asquith) Seese. A resident of Monroe County, she was a graduate of the Barrett Township Consolidated School, class of 1953. After graduation she worked for Buck Hill Falls, before moving to different areas of the East Coast. She returned to the Pocono Mountain area in 1972, where she became employed with Patterson Kelly in the inspection department. She was a member of the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Brian C. Ott and his wife Linda of Willowick, OH; two brothers: Edwin and Charles Seese; sister: Kathryn Schereof; grandchildren: Jason and Jessica Ott and Stacey Ann Kidwell; she is also survived by a stepson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred C. Ott, an infant brother; James Seese; brother, Richard Seese and sister; Louise Granahan. Pastor Jim Todd will conduct a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco.The family will recieve friends and family from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Joyce, may be made to the Med Mobile EMS Ambulance Service, 5140 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
