Obituary of Nancy L. Knecht

Nancy L. Knecht, 79, of Tobyhanna, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. She was the loving wife of the late John Knecht who died in 2015. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Elsie Bittner. Nancy was a stay at home mom who was dedicated to her family and raising her children. She was a fan of the New York Yankees, enjoyed scary movies and puzzles and often shown her talent in crocheting, knitting and quilting. She is survived by her sons: John Knecht of Bartonsville, Kris Knecht of White Haven, Kirk Knecht of Pocono Pines; grandchildren: Jessica, Danielle, Amy, Daniel, Kevin, Katie and great grandchildren: Nate, Jase and Jack. There are no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
