Obituary of Jeanne Lynn

Jeanne Lynn, 86, of Pocono Summit, died on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her home. She was the loving wife of Harold "Hal" Lynn, with whom she shared 63 years. Born in Miners Mills, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Rowland) Lynn. Jeanne was a graduate of Coughlin High School, class of 1948 and later attended Wilkes-Barre Business School. She was employed by Tele Radio and Anthracite Supply Company, both in Wilkes-Barre. Jeanne was later employed by John Kennedy Hospital in Edison, NJ. Jeanne married Hal in 1953 and after Harold's service in 1955, they moved to Metuchen, NJ. They retired to Pocono Summit in 1993. Jeanne was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Pocono Pines. Jeanne will be sorely missed by husband and family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, James Lynn and his wife, Dorothy, Michael Lynn, and Robert Lynn; daughter, Ann Marie Togneri and her husband, Tom along with several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. We are highly indebted to and very thankful for the tremendous support of the Pocono Health System Visiting Nurses and Hospice Care; Nurses, Health Aides, Social Workers and Volunteers given to our family. The Reverend Father Sean Carpenter will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 5 at 11 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Pocono Pines. There will be a viewing from 10 am until the time of Mass at church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
