Obituary of Larry James Juckett
Larry James Juckett, 64, of Marshalls Creek, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017. He was the husband of Christine (Vega) Juckett.
Born in Flanders, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Howard and Louise (Mercer) Juckett.
He grew up in Roxbury, New Jersey and was the youngest of five boys. Larry was a carpenter by trade and moved to the Poconos in the late 70’s where he settled in Marshalls Creek. He played softball for Martha’s Tavern and later for the Minisink Hotel. He loved the great outdoors including fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Larry was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jessica of Henryville; Justine of Queens, New York; son, James of Marshalls Creek; son-in-law, Mark of Henryville; grandchildren, Jayden and Gabriela of Queens, New York and Livia and Alahna of Henryville; brothers, Charles Juckett and his wife, Bette of Hainesville, New Jersey; Howard “Junior” Juckett and his wife, Christine of Beaumont, Texas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins and a wealth of good friends. Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and John Juckett.
There will be a celebration of life gathering at 1p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Maddy & Chuck’s, 167 Adventure Drive, East Stroudsburg, Pa 18302.
In lieu of flowers, please consider bringing a small tree, shrub or perennial for a memorial garden in Larry’s memory.
Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
