Obituary of Yvonne Dick

Yvonne T. Dick, of Cresco, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Burnham "Bernie" Dick, to whom she was married for 52 years.

Born in Trinidad & Tobago, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Christina (Dalrymple) Edwards.

Yvonne was a bookkeeper and accounting clerk for various firms in Trinidad & Tobago and in the Poconos until her retirement. She was a member of the Shawnee Tabernacle Church, where she was active with the Senior Choir and Senior Bible Study groups, and she was an avid bowler for many years.

In addition to her husband, Bernie, she is survived by her sister in Christ, Drusilla Patterson; her lifelong friend, Angela Reed; her aunts and many cousins in Trinidad & Tobago; Louise Virgo, Gladys Garber,  and other bowling partners.

A memorial service celebrating Yvonne's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Shawnee Tabernacle Church, 1110 Carriage Square, Tobyhanna, PA 18466.
