Obituary of John Karl Boesenberg

John Karl Boesenberg, 61, of Pocono Lake, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono in East Stroudsburg.

Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, he was a son of the late Herman and Ruth (Dickinson) Boesenberg.

John graduated from Hicksville High School in Hicksville, New York. He was a proud eagle scout and later became a scout leader. John was a member of the International Game and Fish Association. John was an avid fisherman and had a love for the outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Bryan Boesenberg of Pocono Pines; daughters, Jamie Carty and John Keeney of Mount Pocono, Kristin Campanale and Chris of Glenmoore, and Kelly Boesenberg of Pocono Pines; brother, James Boesenberg and his wife Linda of Merrick, New York; grandchildren, Jordan, Lena, Aiden Carty and Chase Campanale.

There will be a visitation from 11 a.m.  to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family c/o Bryan Boesenberg, Po Box 85, Pocono Pines, Pa 18350.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
