Obituary of Celia Bezdecki

Celia Bezdecki, 82, of Mt. Pocono, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 27 at Pocono Medical Center. She was the wife of Frank Bezdecki. Born in Glen Lyon, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Pawliklowski) Susz. Celia graduated from Newport Township High School. Until her retirement, she was employed as a cafeteria worker for the Pocono Mountain School District. Celia was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Mt. Pocono. In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by two daughters, Susan Seese and her husband, Albert of Cresco, Barbara Brock of Lancaster; a step-son, Edward Bezdecki and his wife Elaine of Toms River, NJ; a brother, Thomas Susz and his wife, Janice of Tunkhannock; three grandchildren, Jamie Phillips and her husband, Jamie of Michigan, Melissa and Nichole Seese, both of Cresco; and a great granddaughter, Brooke Phillips. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon and her husband, Arthur Bender; a sister, Angie Sklaney, and a brother, Stanley "Stoshu" Susz. There will be a viewing on Monday, January 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 31 at St. Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Avenue, Mt. Pocono, Pa. Private burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
