Obituary of June Lenora Fischer

June Lenora Fischer, 86, of Pocono Pines, died Friday, July 27, 2017 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late John F. Fischer, Sr.

Born in Pocono Summit, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Dunlap) Miller.

June was a graduate of Tobyhanna Twp. High School. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, and active in the church's Women's Guild.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Smith and her husband, James of  Pocono Pines; brother, Cloyd Miller of Ashley; sister, Norma Wallingford of Appenzell; and grandchildren, Shawna and Andrew Smith. June was preceded in death by her son, John Fischer, Jr. and sister, Virginia Smith.

There will be a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 1 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
