Obituary of Victoria Moses
Victoria Moses, 96, longtime resident of Montclair, New Jersey, and most recently of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
Born in Amelia County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Fleming and Adelaide (Sherman) Fisher of Virginia.
Victoria was a retiree for the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 464A in Little Falls, New Jersey.
Lovingly known as “Gammie”, Victoria is survived by her daughters, Lillian Waters of Florida and Ruth Washington of Pennsylvania; sons Charles Moses of Connecticut, Wayne Moses of Pennsylvania, Clarence Moses of Pennsylvania, and Joseph Moses of New Jersey; grandchildren Richard, Kelly, Christopher, Troy, Arshon, Claudia, Amber, Christina, Tatanisha, Corey, Volante, Nicole and Cheryl. Victoria is also survived by a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Victoria was preceded in death by her daughters, Cynthia and Sharon, and grandson Ibn.
There will be a viewing and memorial service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, September 7, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pennsylvania.
