Obituary of George Morgan

George R. Morgan, 56, of Mt. Pocono, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 9 at home. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Thomas and Edna (Coddington) Morgan. George currently worked at the Mt. Pocono Walmart and also worked at the Stroudsburg Home Depot in the Hardware and Lawn and Garden Departments. Before moving to the Poconos in 1988, he worked as a letter carrier in Rutherford, NJ. George like collecting classic cars and was a member of the Monroe County Cruisers. He was also an avid Hot Wheels collector. He is survived by a son, George Louis Morgan of Mt. Pocono; three daughters, Jennifer Morgan of Mt. Pocono, Victoria Morgan of Gouldsboro, and Caitlin Morgan of Lake Ariel; two brothers, Christian Morgan of Lodi, NJ and Kevin Morgan and his wife, Elizabeth of Clifton, NJ; a sister, Linda Bins and her husband, Charles of Washington Township, NJ; former wife, Terri Soucek of Scranton; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13 at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
