Obituary of Charles G. Geiger, Jr.

Charles G. Geiger, Jr., 69, of Pocono Summit, died on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Allied Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton. He was the loving husband of Linda (Bass) Geiger with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in New York, NY he was a son of the late Charles G. and Evelyn (Hefner) Geiger, Sr.

A proud veteran, Charles served with the United States Navy from 1967 to  1971 . He worked for Drake's Bakery in Wayne, NJ as a bakery maintenance mechanic until his retirement in 2002. Charles and his wife, Linda have been residents of the Pocono Mountains for over 25 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Jaclyn Anne Geiger and Marc Morrison of Belair, MD; a brother: Robert Geiger of NM; a sister: Grace Spoto of FL and grandchildren: Anthony, Chelsea, Sheamus, Aiden, Dalaynee, Marc and Carter. He was preceded in death by two daughters: Shannon and Evelyn Geiger.

There will be a viewing from 2 to 5 pm on Tuesday, December 5th at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will conduct a blessing service at 5 pm at the funeral home following the viewing.

Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
