Obituary of Joseph John Esposito

Joseph John Esposito, 75, of Hudson, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of the late Alice (DiAlberto) Esposito.

Born in Rutino, Salerno, Italy, he was a son of the late Anthony and Michelina (Venturelli) Esposito.

Joseph emigrated to the United States from Italy at the age of 12, and was a butcher for most of his life. After retirement, he worked at a senior center in Luzerne County as a nutritionist. Joseph was of the catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his children, Dawn Metzgar and her husband, Roger of Long Pond, and Cheryl Esposito of Rockaway Beach, New York; brother, Carmine Esposito of Italy; sister, Michelina Esposito of Italy; grandchild, Julian Metzgar. In addition to his wife, Joseph was preceded in death by a sister, Maryann Zammarelli.

There will be no services at this time; private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
