Obituary of Giuseppe S. Graci

Giuseppe S. Graci, 77, of Mount Pocono, died Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was the loving husband of Maria (LoBello) Graci, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Castrofilippo, providence of Agrigento, Sicily, he was the son of the late Angelo and Maria (Farruggio) Graci.

Giuseppe and Maria moved to the Pocono’s in 1983. Together they opened a successful family business; J & M Pizzeria in Mount Pocono, his pizza and specialty sandwiches were the best in PA with former patrons still raving about the food. Later Joe and his wife Maria worked in the Pocono Mountain School District.  Joe was passionate and dedicated during his 15 years of hard work in the Pocono Mountain East High School.  After retirement, they bought a second home in Long Island, where Giuseppe would fulfill his passion of gardening.  He had fields of tomatoes and vineyards full of grapes and fruit trees.  He and his wife enjoyed traveling together and especially loved spending quality time with family.

Joe leaves a loving and dedicated wife, Maria and three children, MariaRita and husband, Edward, Angelo and wife Julie, Leonardo and wife, Dianne, and four grandchildren; Amanda, Alanea, Joey and Claire, as well his three brothers and four sisters and their families.

There will be a viewing from 3-7pm on January 17, 2018 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial on January 18, 2018, at 10am at The Villa of Our Lady, 45 Meadowside Road, Mount Pocono. Entombment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, East Elmhurst, New York.
