I was so sorry to hear about Vince. We worked together at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company at 110 William Street in New York City in the mid to late 80's. He was a GREAT man who would give you the shirt off his back if you asked him for it. I remember his generosity not just to myself but to EVERYONE we worked with. He and his wife came to my wedding in 1989. He was good friends with my late Uncle, Tony Barra, our Branch Manager at Frieman's Fund. Vince was the personification of class and made you feel special just by being in his company. He treated EVERYONE with respect and was greatly admired by all. I never forgot in 1985 when I was single and I wanted to impress this girl Irma who worked there and I asked Vince for a loan. He said what do you need 200 dollars!!!! I said no Vince $40.00 should do it : ) I gave him the money back the next day but I NEVER forgot it. My deepest sympathies to his family. He was one in a million. I also remember that he was a Consultant while I was there and used to forget to cash his checks!!!!!! Money never mattered to him but PEOPLE did. He would hug you when he saw you and was ALWAYS so full of LIFE. He will be missed by all who were LUCKY enough to have had the pleasure of knowing him.
