Obituary of Arvilla Keiper

Arvilla Keiper, 97, of Pocono Lake, died on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Harvey C. Keiper, Sr.

Born in Cresco, she was a daughter of the late Minor L. and Elsie (Stout) Smith.

Arvilla spent much of her life working for Pocono Manor; she retired after 46 years of faithful service. Upon retiring, she took on the role of caretaker, caring for her family, and friends. She was a former member of the Pocono Lake Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Harvey Keiper of Lehighton, and Harriet Franks of Pocono Lake; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 28 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Services and burial are private.
