Obituary of Justin Reinhardt

Justin Robert Reinhardt, beloved son of Robert Reinhardt, Jr. and Joan (Jody) Edwards Reinhardt, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 23rd. He was only 38 years old.

A lifelong resident of Cresco, Justin was an intelligent, personable young man who enjoyed cooking and trying new foods and restaurants, target shooting, traveling, computers and playing video games and was a loving and proud uncle to Aubrey, Finley and Blake. He was avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and collected their baseball cards and memorabilia throughout his life. He loved the excitement of the games and would talk to anyone who would listen about his favorite team. Easy to talk to, he had a huge heart, loved to have a good time and had an infectious laugh. As a little boy he was always moving, always laughing and always talking.  Known to friends and family as Tutun, Justy, Uncle Justin and the Boy-a-Tee, we will never forget him.

As a Boy Scout, Justin won the Pine Wood Derby 4 years in a row.  Devoting hours and hours to his designs, he eagerly helped build his masterpieces.  In 8th grade, Justin was chosen to march with the Pocono Mountain Marching Band, an honor usually reserved for musicians in high school.  Playing baritone, he marched with the band in the Disney Parade in Orlando, Florida.

A 1997 graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and a 2000 graduate of the Monroe County Technical Institute with a certificate in Machining Technology and CAD/CAM, Justin began a long career at J.A. Reinhardt and Co., Inc., which was founded by his Grandad, Robert F. Reinhardt Sr. and his great uncle, allowing him to pursue his passion of aviation and aerospace.  Starting out as a Dip Braze Assembler he quickly made his way to the machine floor as a CNC Machinist where he programmed machines and created specialized tooling for the rest of the business.  Justin easily transitioned into the business’ highly technical customer service and quoting department, working closely with Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Harris Corporation and Israel’s IAI Elta.  When B/E Aerospace purchased J.A. Reinhardt, Justin entered the Engineering Department first as a CAD Engineer where he gained certification as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2012 then ultimately as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, earning his Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional in 2015.  He also served as the leader of the facilities Corrective Action Board and was J.A. Reinhardt’s AS9100 internal auditor ensuring that the business maintained it’s highly coveted accreditation.

While he could be quiet and unassuming, he always left an impression on those whose lives he touched. We will always remember his bright, quick smile, his uniqueness, his sharp mind and his genuinely good soul.  His was a life of promise ended much too soon.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents – Donald and Mildred Edwards and Robert F. and Kathryn Reinhardt.

Justin is survived by his parents, Bob and Joan (Jody), of Oldsmar, Florida; his sister Mallory Rubino and her husband Joe, of Largo, Florida; the nieces that he adored - Aubrey, Finley and Blake; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
