Obituary of Donald Wells

Donald Wells, 81, of Cresco, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Lou (Simpson) Wells.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late John Wells and Violet (Cragle) Frank.

Donald was an auto mechanic, and in his later years worked for the Pocono Mountain School District.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Ivory Kemmerer and her husband, Thomas of Cresco; brother, Domer Frank of Avis; sisters, Nancy Lashat and her husband, Roy of Mill Hall; Martha Mosser and her husband, Charles of Beech Creek; and Judith Croak of Lock Haven; three great-grandchildren, Violet, James, and Samuel Kemmerer all of Cresco. In addition to his wife, and parents, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorre Beehler.

There will be a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 26 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
