Obituary of Jennifer Velcamp

Jennifer Lynn Velcamp, 46, of Scotrun, died Friday, March 23, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Christian Velcamp.

Born in Red Bank, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Ann (Emmons) Fleming.

A hardworking and devoted mother, Jennifer always put her family first. She was a gracious host and was known for her delicious cooking. She enjoyed cozying up next to a fire and feeling the warmth on her face and was especially passionate about hiking and the outdoors. Before her husband Christian passed, they enjoyed many adventures together as a family.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Fleming; daughters, Alexandra and Annabel Velcamp; siblings, Cheryl Devine and her husband, William, Eugene Fleming, James Fleming and his wife, Nicole, Kelly Visone and her husband, Christopher; brother-in-law, Joseph Velcamp and his wife, Marianne, sister-in-law, Melissa Fleming; lifelong friend, Ben Lipetz; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, and parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Fleming.

There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., time of memorial service, Tuesday March 27th at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco.
