Obituary of Judith Ann Bixler

Judith Ann Bixler, 73, of Cresco, died on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late David Bixler.

Born in Fort Riley, Kansas she was a daughter of the late Leo Leon and Eva Olga (Yancy) Canova.

Judith was a member of the Canadensis UMC, where she was involved for many years. She was a former Eastern Star Worthy Matron and an advocate of Clowning for Christ. She also volunteered her time at the Nearly New Clothing Shop.

She is survived by her daughter, Yancy Bixler of Carbondale; sister, Mary Canova of Texas; two sister-in-laws; Cathy Canova of Texas and Hetti Bixler of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leon and Michael; brother-in-law: Harold, and her mother-in-law, Margaret.

Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
