Obituary of Paul Nolfo

Paul Nolfo, 65, of Long Pond, died Monday, April 23, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Zoraida (Aponte) Nolfo, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Santo and Jean (Russo) Nolfo.

Paul retired from AT&T and lived in the Poconos for 26 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mallory Nolfo and her fiancé, Billy Cannell of Stroudsburg; brother, Dr. Robert Nolfo and his wife, Dr. Emily Nolfo of Guilford, Connecticut; sister, Maria Klammer and her husband, Artie of Pocono Pines; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Aponte of Madison, Alabama; brother-in-law, Hal Aponte and wife, Maria of West Chester, New York; sister-in-law, Yazmin Maymi and her husband, Louis of Madison, Alabama; grandson, Carter Cannell and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28 with a blessing service beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
