Obituary of Agnes Lutz

Agnes J. Lutz, 80, of Mount Pocono, died on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House in Monroe County. She was the loving wife of the late Emmet J. Lutz. Born in Brooklyn , NY she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Agnes (McDonough) Curren. She was a member of the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church and the Pocono Pines & Pocono Summit Seniors club. Agnes worked as an administrative assistant for Stone & Webster Engineering Corpoartion in Manhattan, NY until her retirement. She is survived by three sons: Robert J. Cook and hiswife Sarina of Tobyhanna, Thomas Cook of College Point, NY,Gerard Cook of Mexico;a step son: the late Robert Lutz of Union Dale, NY; two daughters:Theresa Baptist of Babylon, NY, JoAnn Cancel and her husband James of Flushing,NY; three step-daughters: Linda Micheels and her husband David of East Meadow,NY, Kathy Solitarion and her husband Domanick of Chester, NY, Debbie Cernutoand her husband Christopher of Warwick, NY; fifteen grandchildren; eight step grandchildren;twenty one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, February 22 from 10-11:00 am at the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church, 12 Church Ave in Mt. Pocono. Rev. Dr. Stanley J. Menking will conduct a memorial serive at 11:00 am at the Church. Private burial will take place at Calverton National Cemtery.
