Obituary of Virginia Leslie

Virginia Leslie, 67, of Long Pond, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Alex Leslie, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Born in Schenectady, New York, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Virginia (Thompson) King.

Virginia and her family have resided in Emerald Lakes for the past 26 years, where she served on several committees and volunteered her time at events. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters & son-in-law: Alexis & Robert Belmonte and Robin Leslie; sisters and brother-in-law: Karen & Stan Majak; Melissa Wagner; sisters-in-law Lucille & Mary Ann Leslie; grandchildren: Shawn, Jahir, Jakai, Jordan, Caedyn, Jade, Jewel, and Ella; as well as a host of nieces and nephews all whom she loved deeply. Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, John King; brother-in-law, Jon Wagner; and sister-in-law, Janice Leslie. 

There will be a viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28 at St. Ann's Church, Main Street, Tobyhanna. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center, 206 East Brown Street, East Stroudsburg, Pa 18301.

Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
