Obituary of Debra Lynn Oney
Debra Lynn Oney, 56, of Pocono Summit, went home to her HEAVENLY father, Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Born in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Mildred Ann (Collins) Oney.
Debra was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own. She worked as a registered nurse, and during that time she, served as a teacher, counselor, and mentor to many young women.
She is survived by her siblings: Gerald Oney, Jr. of Port Jervis, New York; Brenda Carey of Newfoundland; Gregory Oney of Pocono Summit; John S. Oney of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Douglas Marshall of Pocono Summit.
There will be no services at this time; private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
