Obituary of Elizabeth F. Lutz

Elizabeth “Beth” Francis Lutz, 49, of Mountain Top, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2018.

Born Monday July 21, 1969 in Allentown, she was the daughter of Nancy Louise Peterson and the late Francis Nordmark Peterson.

Beth graduated from Jim Thorpe High School in 1987. She then proceeded to continue her education at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising. Everyone that knew Beth always appreciated her “passion for fashion.” Not only did she have a smile that could light up any room, but a contagious laugh that could never be forgotten. Her wit, intelligence, and demeanor are amongst many of her traits that are incomparable. Beth focused mainly on being the best mother she could be, providing her children and their friends with the most memorable childhood they could ask for, doing so with unconditional love. Amongst her love for fashion- Beth loved to cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, singing along to Cher and Elton John and providing rescued animals with a loving home. Those who had the pleasure of meeting her could truly say they have met someone with a heart of gold. Beth was a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister whose enlightening spirit will forever live on.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey A. Lutz; daughter, Gabriella Lutz; and two sons, Derek and Alexander Lutz. Beth was also survived by her siblings; brothers, Mark of Los Angeles, CA Eric & wife Nancy of Blakeslee, Scott & wife, Hilary of Dallas,, John & wife Diane of Jim Thorpe, and sisters, Julie & husband John of  Ogunquit, ME, Mary & husband Doug of Chicago, IL, and Nina & spouse Sue of Ottawa, Canada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces.

Services will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman on Friday, September 14 at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Lutz family.
